For the hamburger steak

  • 250g of minced meat (125g pork, 125g beef)
  • 1/4 onion
  • 2 table spoons of breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 table spoons of milk
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of pepper
  • 4 slices of cheese

For the sauce

  • 2 table spoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 table spoons of Ketchup
  • 2 table spoons of sugar
  • 2 table spoons of Soy sauce
  • 2 table spoons of Sake(Japanese rice wine)


Start mincing the onion.In a mixing bowl, combine the minced onion with the ground meat. Mix them together thoroughly.

Season the meat and onion mixture with salt and pepper. Add the egg and breadcrumbs to the meat mixture.

Shape the mixed meat into small hamburgers using your hands. Adjust the thickness of each patty according to your preference. Thicker patties will result in juicier burgers, while thinner ones will cook more quickly.

Turn on the abien MAGIC GRILL to HI setting. Grill both surfaces of the hamburgers until they get a slight brown crust.

Set the grill temperature to the LOW setting. Cover the hamburger with abien FOOD COVER and wait for 10 minutes until the burgers have been cooked through. Mix the ingredients for the sauce until the sugar gets dissolved and pour it over the hamburger. When the sauce stars to boil, place the sliced cheese on the top. It is now ready to serve!
